Delete Your Account and Data
App: Jjan (짠) · Developer: Fizz Labs · Last updated: October 10, 2026
Also available: 한국어 · EN · 日本語 · 中文 · ES
Jjan has no developer servers. Your records live only on your device and in your own cloud space (on Android, the app-data folder of your Google Drive; on iPhone, your iCloud), so you can delete them right in the app. No app anymore? Use the steps below or email us.
1. Delete in the app — Android
- Open Jjan and tap your profile picture (avatar) at the top of the screen to open your profile.
- Tap Account (Manage subscription · Log out · Delete account).
- Tap the red Delete account near the bottom.
- In "Really delete your account?", tap Delete everything and leave. Deletion happens right away and the app returns to its first screen.
- Please do this while you're online. Without a connection, the data on your device is deleted but the Google Drive backup may remain — you can then remove it with the no-app steps.
- If you're signed out, you'll see "Create account" instead of "Account". Sign in again with the same Google account, then follow the steps above.
2. Delete in the app — iPhone
- Open Jjan and tap your profile picture (avatar) at the top of the screen.
- Tap Account (Manage subscription · Log out · Delete account).
- Tap Delete account, then Delete everything and leave.
Deleting the iCloud backup also needs an internet connection; offline, only the data on your device may be deleted.
3. What gets deleted
- All session and drink records, record notes, and morning-report condition entries
- Your baseline (sex, age, height, weight, usual intake, flush response), plans, and quick-glass buttons
- Your name, profile photo, and sign-in details (account identifier and email address)
- Voice files you recorded for Quiet Exit (Escape)
- Personalization learning data (per-session summaries and condition answers), water counts, and the Quiet Exit caller name and message — Android 1.1.0 or later, iPhone 1.4.5 or later
- Android: the backup file in your Google Drive app-data folder (it contains your records, water counts, baseline, plans, some app settings, profile photo, and personalization learning data)
- iPhone: Jjan's backup in your iCloud (CloudKit)
Deletion is immediate and can't be undone.
4. What is kept
- On this device only — app settings (language, notification settings, serving-size preferences, cached purchase status, etc.) stay on the device until you uninstall the app. None of this is sent anywhere, and uninstalling the app removes all of it. On iPhone 1.4.4 or earlier, personalization learning data and water counts also stay on the device until the app is deleted, and an already-scheduled notification (such as the next morning's report reminder) may still appear once after deletion.
- Purchase and subscription records — kept by Google Play or the App Store under their own policies. The developer can't delete them.
- Anonymous usage statistics (Aptabase) — not linked to any account, email, or advertising ID, so they can't be looked up or deleted per person. They contain no drink-record contents.
- Ads (Google AdMob) — data Google processes to show ads follows Google's policies. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings > Privacy > Ads.
Uninstalling the app alone removes the data on your device, but your Google Drive or iCloud backup stays. To remove the backup, delete your account in the app or use the steps below.
5. Cancel your subscription separately
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription.
- Android: Google Play Store app > profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions, then choose Jjan and cancel. You can also get there from "Manage subscription in Google Play" on the app's Account screen.
- iPhone: Settings > your name > Subscriptions.
6. If you no longer have the app
Your records are not on any developer server, so you can remove them yourself even without the app.
- Android (Google Drive backup): on a computer, open drive.google.com > gear icon > Settings > Manage apps, find Jjan, then Options > Delete hidden app data. Afterwards you can remove Jjan's access in Google Account > Third-party connections.
- iPhone (iCloud backup): Settings > your name > iCloud > Manage Account Storage — if Jjan is listed, delete its data. To stop using Sign in with Apple, go to Settings > your name > Sign-In & Security > Sign in with Apple and choose Jjan.
- Request by email: write to support@fizzlabs.ai with the subject "Account deletion request" and include (1) your platform (Android or iPhone) and (2) the email address of the account you signed in with (if you used Apple's private relay, that address). Please don't send passwords or payment details. We usually reply within 1–2 days and will walk through removing any remaining data with you.
